Massage for your Body & Soul

Throughout history, massage has been shown to be beneficial in treating more than just physical conditions and symptoms. Massage is a holistic treatment, supporting the physical, mental and emotional aspects of our being.

Due to our busy, stressful, fast paced lives, massage is no longer just a luxury. It has become a necessity for self-care, health maintenance and balance.  Our massage therapists believe that a thorough treatment consists of consideration of the body, mind and soul.

Your massage can consist of one specific style (see below) or your therapist can interpret and devise an  individualised combination of styles to best support your needs, even if you’re not sure what type of massage your body needs.

Our Massage Styles:

  • A system of long strokes, kneading, friction, tapping, percussion, vibration and shaking motions that apply pressure between muscles and bones
  • Releasing tension and breaking up muscle “knots”
  • Relaxing and invigorating

  • Use similar movements and techniques as Swedish massage while the pressure will generally be more intense
  • A more focused type of massage, as the therapist works to release chronic muscle tension or knots.
